4-H and FFA Discounts
Proud to support youth in agriculture
Lazy 2R Mini Herefords wish to encourage youth to pursue agriculture and livestock projects. The lessons learned from caring for livestaock are invaluable. These great organizations, 4-H and FFA, have a long history of creating bright futures for their members. Leadership, responsibility, public speaking, and community service are just a few of the skills learned in these organizations. The friendships developed, practical skills and vocational skills learned are life-long benefits as well.
4-H / FFA Youth discounts
In an effort to help foster youth in agriculture we have developed opportunities for earned discounts off the purchase of Lazy 2R calves.
These discounts apply to AHA registered, IMCBR registered, and unregistered calves.
Please read the requirements listed below.
These are earned discounts. Must be under 18 years of age.
Discount #1 - Recite 4-H Pledge or FFA Motto
After you pick out your calf at Lazy 2R Mini Herefords we will take $100.00 off the purchase price if you recite either the 4-H Pledge or the FFA Motto correctly.
Discount applied for one calf.
Discount # 2 Write an essay
If you write an 1-2 page essay about your experiences in 4-H and/or FFA we will give a discount of $100.00 off the purchase price.
This can be in addition to reciting the pledge or motto.
If you do both you will recieve $200.00 off the purchase price.
Extra Premium
If you exhibit your calf, purchased from Lazy 2R, at your local county fair (Or, any show). You can send us a picture in front of the banner and we will send you $50.00 as an extra premium. You do not need to win a class, division, or grand/reserve to earn this premium. You just need to provide proof of your participation.
This is a one time award.
